Women

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." - 2 Peter 3:18

In a world where women are taught that their worth is measured by external beauty, where success is defined by material possession, women must be transformed from the inside out by the Word of God through His Son Jesus Christ.

Women's Ministry exists to meet the spiritual needs of every woman whether you are a new Christian or seasoned in your walk with God. The Biblical model for Women's Ministry is found in Titus 2 where the Scripture teaches that younger women ought to be taught and molded into a godly woman by women who are older in the faith. In order to hold to this Biblical model, women must be in regular Bible Study and fellowship gatherings with other women of all ages.

Women's Ministry also exists to reach other women for Christ. We attempt to do this by enabling each woman to grow and become more equipped to share their faith. Growing spiritually and making disciples is core to our Women's Ministry.

Growth Opportunities

Bible Study

Growth through study of God's Word is the best way to learn and experience what God has in store for our lives. His many promises, attributes and secrets to life in Him are revealed through studying His Word. It is also a great opportunity to meet new friends and build lasting relationships. Love Card Ministry

This group of women gathers on the 2nd Thursday of each month in Room l224 from l0am.-Noon and 7pm.-9pm. to learn how to make stamp art cards. They enjoy a time of prayer, fellowship and crafting cards to our missionaries, shut-ins, and to The Sunrise Childrens' Services. For further information contact: Bonnie Dunkle at 24l-0896.

Moms Keeping Faith

Come join this group for mothers of young children where you can meet other moms, develop important mothering skills, learn what God says about family life, and participate in a prayer and share time with a Mentoring Mom. Some of the topics covered include, how to fill your "love bucket," recognizing common mothering traps, dealing with self-defeating habits in mothering, how to let Christ's love and patience flow through you to your family and much, much more. We're all in this together and how wonderful it is to be able to share the joys and frustrations with other moms, plus get wisdom from Mentoring Moms who have "been there."

This group meets on the second Friday of every month from 9:00 - 12:00 noon. Children enjoy time with other children and learn from curriculum. For more information, contact Amber Davis at amberdavis78@insightbb.com.
